Rally for Common Sense is thrilled to have acclaimed indie artist Dee Rock in the line up! Dee has worn many hats in the music industry, from producing and writing songs for Virgin Records ~ EMI ~ Capitol Records, as well as writing songs for the Warner Bros. film “Divas” and various TV shows.
His guitar playing can be heard on the TLC show “American Chopper” as well as on the Discovery channel biker show “Southern Steel / Milwaukee Iron” on which he also sings the theme.
Dee has enjoyed every project he’s worked on but being on stage and performing is what he loves the most! So, just over a year ago, Dee left L.A. for Nashville and got busy in the studio with some serious heavyweights to create his first CD, “The Road Ain’t Long.”
Co-producer Tom Paden has written songs recorded by country artists Reba McEntire, George Strait, Tammy Wynette and Kenny Rogers to name a few. Eddie Kilgallon (keyboardist and band leader for Montgomery Gentry), also contributed to the project and co- wrote “Callin’ all Cowgirls” with Dee Rock & Tom Paden.
Dee’s CD, “The Road Ain’t Long” on Cimarron Records Nashville, has ten great songs from start to finish. This is pure Country Soul sung straight from the heart and it’s the only way this Dreadlock Cowboy knows how to do it.
